AI Chat Enter Control (the “Extension”) changes message-entry behavior on supported chat services so that Enter inserts a new line and Ctrl+Enter or Cmd+Enter sends the message.
The Extension does not collect personal information, message content, text entered by the user, browsing history, authentication information, usage statistics, or any other user data.
The Extension observes Enter-key events only to provide its keyboard-control functionality. These events and the contents of message fields are not recorded, analyzed, or transmitted.
The Extension stores one Boolean preference—whether the Extension is enabled—using chrome.storage.sync. Chrome may synchronize this preference through the user’s Google account when Chrome Sync is enabled.
This preference does not contain message content or personal information. It is not sent to or accessible from any server operated by the developer.
Because the Extension does not collect user data, it does not sell, share, transfer, or use user data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or any other secondary purpose.
Neither the developer nor any third party can use the Extension to read the user’s messages.
The Extension runs only on the supported chat-service domains listed in its Chrome Web Store listing and manifest. This access is used solely to identify the active message field, process Enter-key shortcuts, and activate the applicable send control.
All processing takes place locally in the user’s browser. Gmail is not included in the Extension’s site permissions, and the Extension does not run in Gmail’s email composer.
Apart from Chrome’s optional synchronization of the enabled/disabled preference described above, the Extension does not initiate network requests or communicate with developer-operated or other third-party servers. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, or remotely hosted code. All executable code is included in the Extension package.
The developer does not receive or retain user data. The enabled/disabled preference remains in Chrome Sync according to the user’s Chrome settings. Users can change this preference from the Extension’s options page and can remove the Extension through Chrome’s extension settings.
If this Privacy Policy changes, this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised. Any change to the Extension’s data practices will also be reflected in its Chrome Web Store disclosures.
